Job Description
The Company - Our Client:
Our client is part of a national independent network that was established due to specific customer demand. Each organisation has the full backing and support of the global parent organisation and exclusively sells their quality products and services, including calls and lines packages, internet and e-business solutions, mobile phones and tariffs, phone and data solutions.
The Role - Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend at least 3 customer visits per day selling mobile, landline and broadband services to clients.
Help establish our client as the primary supplier of telecoms & IT products & services to the accounts in the nominated territory.
Manage effectively the relationship between our client and the customer accounts within the nominated territory.
Achieve a high level of new business sales from the accounts within the nominated territory in order to exceed the sales order intake target.
Pro-actively contact accounts within the nominated territory to qualify sales opportunities via the telephone and to arrange prepared face to face sales meetings and demonstrations.
Setting appointments when necessary
Process and issue orders
Demonstrate the BT Versatility, BCM and the Cisco CME telephone systems to prospective customers in order to close sales opportunities.
Manage an opportunity pipeline and provide accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts to the Communications management.
Use effective time management to ensure sales targets are exceeded and excellent customer service is provided.
The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in a telecommunication sales environment.
Have an excellent telephone manner.
Have the ability to build rapport with customers.
Thrive in a high energy, fast paced environment.
Target driven.
Work well under pressure.
Able to work as part of a team.
