Technical Project Manager. Our client, a leading Telecoms company is looking for an experienced technical project manager to lead the transition of the support teams from in-house to a managed service organisation.
The project is in need of a Delivery focussed Technical Project Manager to not only deliver the above project, but also to up-scale the infrastructure and increase the capabilities of their datacentre.
The Technical Project Manager will need experience / exposure of:
Transitioning the support teams to a managed service organisation
Managing the scaling of Linux infrastructure
Managing infrastructure projects with budgets between £600k - £2.5mill +
Monitoring systems such as Linux / Red Hat, ideally coming from an Infrastructure management / Operations manager background
ITIL processes / procedures
The successful Technical Project Manager must understand requirements, build suitable project plans and pull together schedules for delivery.
If you have experience delivering technical infrastructure projects with a managed services company you would be at a great advantage. Experience with customer / helpdesk change, telecoms and ISP`s are also desirables.
