Job Description
Project Manager (agile) - South Wales - £3-50k pa
The Company:
We are an expert provider of insurance software solutions to the global general insurance market. We have a strong track record of designing insurance administration solutions that ensure our clients can differentiate their products quickly and efficiently, speed to market and cost reduction.
Based in South Wales we are part of a wider group which employs approaching 400 people across the UK and Australia and New Zealand and has over 30 years experience in providing software and outsourcing services for the financial services industry. In 2011 we secured a debut ranking of number 30 in the Sunday Times HSBC international track 100 league table of private companies with the fastest growing international sales in the last three years
The Role:
We are looking for a strong IT focused project manager to take responsibility delivering software and servicing projects within the agreed schedule and budget and will deliver projects across an impressive client list within financial services. You will need experience of managing a development resource to design software for a project. We are looking with candidates with ideally a strong knowledge of either Java or RPG languages.
The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate a background working within financial services (e.g insurance) and be able to demonstrate experience of delivering large projects. You will be Prince 2 accredited and be able to manage stakeholders using the Agile methodology.CPS Group (UK) Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
