Job Description

The Company - Our Client:

Our client is one of the largest telecoms providers in Europe, they are looking for a Sales Manager to Manage a team of Internal Sales Executive and Field Sales Executives. Your role would be to manage a sales team who are responsible to sell our client`s calls, lines and mobile products and services to deliver sales and customer service targets for our client by pro-active outbound telephone calling and visiting key customer contacts and decision makers within a defined geographical customer base.

The Role - Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hands on leadership of the telesales / field sales team.

  • Achieve defined sales targets.

  • Leading the telesales / field sales team to ensure that individual and team targets are met.

  • Work with the team, individually and as a group, to ensure that they are able to pro-actively open, develop, qualify and close opportunities with customers.

  • Ensure the telesales team work in a manner consistent with the telesales KPIs.

  • Record and manage the performance of the team and its` members and to report and discuss the performance with the team and the directors.

  • Ensure customers are fully aware of our clients initiative and the full range of products and services that can be provided, along with their business benefits.

  • Sell the targeted products and services, pro-actively up-selling and cross-selling new products and services to these customers.

  • Ensure all customer details, information, interactions, leads and opportunities are entered onto, and updated on our clients systems in a timely and complete manner.

  • Provide and maintain up to date management information

The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Customer & Industry Awareness - Understanding of telecoms, particularly in relation to SMEs

  • Voice & Mobile products and services - Knowledge of the capabilities and business benefits of the voice / mobile product portfolio

  • Data products and services - Knowledge of the capabilities and business benefits of the data product portfolio

  • E-Business - Comfortable in discussions with customers about E-Business

  • Financial Awareness - Has a basic understanding of business finance

  • Technical Awareness - Has a basic understanding of the technology and the associated jargon.

The Package - What You Could Earn:

  • Basic salary of £35,000

  • OTE

  • Uncapped Commission
