Job Description
A fantastic opportunity to join a well establish Field Marketing Solutions Provider. Originally formed in 1987, the company specialises in providing clients with over 20 years of expertise and experience in a range of field marketing activities across the UK and overseas.
They select and know their staff using an extensive and exclusively owned database thus ensuring quality of delivery. In addition they provide our clients with project and campaign management, on-line reporting, warehousing, distribution, and call centre capabilities.
Good organisation and self discipline are crucial to being efficient, and then the right attitude and happy staff are the key to delighting customers.
You will deliver large scale POS execution programs for client's international propositions within the convenience / independent and direct retail channels.
Objectives of the Merchandising Manager
Develop and implement relevant, eye catching POS which grabs target audience attention and drives sales through the independent channels.
Ensure POS compliance in 25k key retail outlets across the UK
Deliver an International proposition store program through the top 1,000 stores, relevant to the local community. This will include window vinyl's, marques, shop fronts, internal fixtures etc.
Work with direct channels to showcase the international portfolio of products throughout retail, and delivers the maximum amount of sales.
Work with key distributors to ensure a co-ordinated and optimal POS program.
Responsible for weekly competitor pricing / activity reports, with suggested actions.
Initial 6 Month Contract (5th March - 31st Aug 2012) with he possibility of extension to 12 months.
£30k per annum (pro-rata) plus travel allowance.
Ideally London/S. East based with 1-3 days in head office per week.
Field based with ability to travel and manage own work loads.
