Job Description
A highly successful specialist steel and alloy company requires a Metallurgist to support the Technical Team. Duties would include;
€¢ Liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors.
€¢ Metallurgical support for sales and production
€¢ Auditing sub-contractors
€¢ Witnessing forging operation
€¢ Requesting new samples or orders
€¢ Administering and investigating customer complaints
€¢ Creating quality specifications for products manufacture
€¢ Ensuring product compliance and documentation approval prior to despatch
€¢ Ensuring compliance to ISO 9001: 2008
€¢ Co-ordinating testing of products internally and externally to ensure they meet all quality standards
A Metallurgy qualification and relevant experience is essential.
