Job Description
A Housing Association in West Yorkshire is looking for a Cost Control Manager to deliver and facilitate cost management duties for their social housing Repairs and Maintenance Department.
Duties:
Manage, develop and motivate the maintenance team to deliver a high quality, customer focused responsive repairs service across the subsidiaries
Ensure consistent high performance across a range of Key Performance Indicators.
Control financial expenditure within budgets and ensure compliance with standing orders and financial regulations
Ensure services are continually reviewed, improved and developed.
Maintain an approved list of contractors and monitor contractor performance and quality
Devise and deliver reports to the Subsidiary Boards
The successful candidate must have:
Experience of working in a Construction or Social Housing Environment
Experience with Cost Control
Response and Planned Maintenance contracts experience
Managerial experience of staffing, budgeting and performance monitoring
