Job Description

Our client is a well established private care provider, specializing in residential, nursing and dementia care for the elderly since 2000.

They are urgently looking for a Deputy Manager for their lovely welcoming care home on the outskirt of Reading which is registered for 37 residents.

As a Deputy Manager you will assist the Home Manager in the smooth running of the home, and that high quality care to residents as well as compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies and procedures is maintained at all times.(Full Job Description is available on request)

Requirements:

• €¢ Valid NMC Pin number

• €¢ Experience in elderly and Dementia care

• €¢ Excellent clinical skills

• €¢ Skills and experience in staff management

• €¢ Experience of care assessments

• €¢ The ability to manage rotas and deal with staff attendance issues

• €¢ Excellent communication and people skills

• €¢ Warm and welcoming personality

• €¢ 42 hours per week, possibly including some weekends
