Job Description

Our client is one of the UK's most respected care home companies, providing award winning care and services to thousands of residents throughout the UK.

Their care home in The Chalfonts( South Buckinghamshire) is registered to provide residential, nursing and palliative care to elderly service users with and without dementia, also to younger people with physical disabilities and brain injuries.

We are currently looking for a Head of Unit/Sister for their Dementia unit so if you feel you meet the requirements below, please do get in touch to find out more details.

Job role:

To manage all aspects of the delivery of care to residents within the Dementia unit of the Home, with particular emphasis on the development, monitoring and audit of professional standards to ensure high quality care is provided. (Full Job description available on request)

Requirements:

• €¢ RGN or RMN qualification with valid NMC Pin number

• €¢ Experience of working with older people and people with dementia

• €¢ The ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans

• €¢ Excellent record keeping

• €¢ Experience of coordinating staff rotas

• €¢ Excellent leadership and communication skills

• €¢ Experience in staff supervision and appraisals

• €¢ Team player
