Job Description

Continuous Improvement Engineer

£25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience

Working within a mechanical manufacturing unit and providing the focus for improving quality, processes and efficiency throughout the operation. You will ensure that improvement requirements are identified, planned, communicated and applied as necessary, resulting in optimised business performance.

Main responsibilities will include developing and implementing Quality Planning activities to influence Process quality improvements. You will provide guidance, general support and awareness training to all relevant personnel. You will be involved in training and participating in process and system audits.

Candidates must be educated to a minimum of HNC in a mechanical engineering discipline, with previous quality, Lean, or continuous improvement experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in a machine shop or low volume engineering environment.
