Job Description
Venn Group are currently looking for a Systems Security Specialist for a large NHS Trust based in London.
This specialist technical position will be responsible for the security of the Trusts extensive technical infrastructure and will be expected to be the Trust expert in their field. This will include (but is not limited to) all the Trusts Servers, PCs, Laptops, network devices, handheld devices and memory sticks.
IT security is one of the most important elements in the successful continuing operation of the Trust`s IT systems. The post holder will be responsible for all threat prevention measures including Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, user access control and design of the Microsoft Active Directory.
It is expected that the post holder will be an expert in their field and have extensive knowledge and experience relating to IT Security and its successful deployment in a large scale environment.
The post holder will develop, in liaison with the Information Governance Manager and the standards in the IG Toolkit, technical policy and procedure which will set the standard for the Trust`s IT security, both current and future, and will provide up to date documentation to facilitate the ongoing development of security.
