“Experienced IT or Telecoms Sales Manager required to run multiple vertical sales teams”

They now deliver outsourced solutions to major corporate organisations across 5 continents internationally.
IT Sales Manager – The Opportunity
Due to consistent growth, the business is looking to appoint a Sales Manager based in the Weybridge office, to run the Sales team from a day to day and operational perspective. The sales team is split in to 4 verticals and this role will oversee responsibility for these teams in their entirety. This role is pivotal in assisting the Board in achieving their ambitious goals in sustaining the current impressive growth rate.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operationally lead the sales teams in a very “hands on” manner
- Regular sales reporting & forecasting
- Measure all appropriate KPI’s through the sales process
- Plan the best use of the team’s time and resources
- Work closely with operational delivery teams to refine and develop the most efficient Order Processing Management system within CRM, including all logistics and Resource Management
- Operationally control and manage the quality of bids produced
- Work with the team and individuals to create effective problem resolution
- Help construct, implement and manage appropriate commission schemes
IT Sales Manager - Candidate
You will have come from a technology sales background and have a proven track record in selling telephony, networks and outsourced solutions. You will also have management experience and will have been responsible for driving, motivating and leading sales teams within a fast paced and ever changing environment. You must also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Energy, drive and a hands on approach, you will be able to inspire, motivate, encourage and improve performance. You will be the “go to point” for your team, and will be both supportive and assertive as required
- Proven and significant sales operational experience in the IT and/or Telecommunications sector
- Experience and a track record of success in delivering results through the “hands on” management of sales professionals
- Understanding and support of the operational challenges that Sales creates
- High levels of motivation and flexibility with an ability to use your own initiative
- Intelligence and assertiveness with a good team ethic
- Work with a right first time approach
- Possess great leadership qualities
