Job Description

Sales Team Manager Sheffield 325,000 An truly exciting opportunity has arisen to join a national organisation in their Sheffield contact centre.

The role of the Sales Team Manager will be to take full responsibility for their team to maximise all sales and revenue opportunities, achieving and exceeding targets.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Ensure team and individual campaign contact rates and specified revenue targets are achieved ·Manage existing, lapsed and new customer sales campaigns ·Ensure CRM and other Contact Centre systems are updated ·Identify and implement internal process improvement opportunities ·Reduce unavailable time ·Mentor coach and motivate Agents to achieve sales targets ·Actively listen to calls ·Provide coaching and feedback ·Measure qualitative performance using the quality score card ·Maximise revenue leads through successful sales techniques ·Provide training on specific tasks / skills ·Conducting regular performance reviews ·Manage absence and disciplinary matters ·Floor walking/Answering questions from Agents ·Handle escalated calls with difficult or complaining customers ·Make on the spot decisions ·Hold daily buzz sessions and regular team meetings, skill sharing and intelligence sharing sessions ·Take part in the recruitment of Sales Agents ·Participate in Agent forums and meetings to fuel growth and improve existing product portfolio ·Carry out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit that will benefit the Contact Centre or the company as a whole

Successful candidates will have the following experience:-

-2-3 years experience of working in a sales dominated call centre / contact centre at supervisory or Team Manager level * Used to working under pressure and to very fixed deadlines * Experience of working within in a B2B or B2C telesales and dialler driven environment * Experienced in developing mentoring and coaching new and existing staff (possibly working in a start-up) * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
