Job Description

Our Sheffield based client is a leading Law firm. With services and solutions covering both the business and consumer sectors, they are well placed for further growth. They now have an immediate opening for a Law Costs Draftsman.

As a Sheffield based Law Costs Draftsman you will deal with solicitors’ files across a range of disciplines and prepare costs claims for submission to either opposing solicitors or various courts. This involved role may also require you to undertake negotiations and possibly have some involvement with advocacy. Applications are invited from degree educated candidates who possess 1-2 years experience working for either in-house or an external supplier of cost drafting services. You will either be fully or part qualified, computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and enjoy operating in a pressurised and highly motivated team environment. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative with the minimum of supervision, be committed and hard working, organised and able to communicate clearly with people at all levels

The successful candidate can expect a 20-25k salary with an additional and generous benefits package.
