Job Description

Graduate Software Engineer - Javascript OR Android - Home Medical Devices / Health Technology Leatherhead, Surrey £25,000 - £30,000

Based in Surrey, we are a small, friendly, well established company operating in the growing Telehealth market. We are looking for a high calibre, self sufficient software engineer to join our development team. 

We are specifically looking for someone with an aptitude for UI programming, either Javascript in web applications and / or Android UIs on mobile devices.

Your responsibilities would include:

> Working under supervision of senior colleagues, developing and testing software against defined specifications and in accordance with the company’s medical device accredited quality procedures. > Liaising with partners and 3rd parties on technical software  matters. > Assisting in the maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Working within a small company provides great scope for rapid personal development, so this is a great opportunity for an able person starting their software carer. Note that any claims regarding skills and experience will be tested through a practical exercise during the recruitment process. In addition, initially the appointment would be for 3 months but is likely to be extended to a permanent position subject to satisfactory performance and continued budgetary support. You may have worked in the following capacities: Javascript Developer, Android Developer, Javascript Java Programmer, Mobile App Developer, UI Javascript Engineer.
