Job Description

Brand Marketing Manager - Global Internet Clothing / Fashion Retailer Bermondsey, South East London (SE16) Excellent Salary + 50% discounts on products, 20 days holiday + bank holidays

Background:

Launched in 2007, we have grown into a well-respected and successful global player in the luxury children’s clothing market.  Following investor funding the company is expanding its product range and staff to build on this success and take the brand to international territories.

The company is currently 50 people strong working from their Bermondsey office in London. We are already planning to grow to 60 by Q1 2012. 

The Management Team consist of founder and CEO, a Head of Brand, VP of Digital Marketing, Head of Buying, Head of Merchandising, CFO and CTO.

The company is actively seeking new marketing talent to join the brand and comms team managing the Content Manager and Social Media Executive, working directly for the Head of Brand.

Overall remit of the role:

To deliver effective on and offline marketing plans to build the brand and drive revenue from consumer acquisition, engagement, data capture and user insight. You will initiate and deliver campaigns that use the full marketing mix with particular focus of digital techniques but also looking at above the line opportunities and relationships with key target partners.

It is vital that the brand image and user experience remains consistent across all platforms and that the brand is relevant to new audiences, playing to the company’s overall values and proposition. You will pull together the activity of the team both as project manager and mentor.

Background:

> Experience as a brand focused marketer in a known consumer brand > Experience with a brand that has undergone rapid growth and change > Demonstrable track record of success and achievement through innovation and result driven campaigns > Retail consumer experience > Strong pedigree in digital and ecommerce > Use of data and insight to inform strategy > Evidence of ground-breaking creativity and innovation that delivers tangible revenue and brand return

Skills:

> Project management > Team leadership and inspiration > Can operate in a fast paced environment > Ability to improve or introduce processes > Interpret and deliver to a the brief at short notice with minimum information or resource > Use of tools such as newsletter platforms, Magento, google analytics, high competency in Excel > Interest in the children’s market and its products > Marketing qualification desirable
