Job Description
Lead Process Engineer - Newcastle
£35,000
We require a Lead Process Engineer for a specialist engineering firm providing design, project management and feasibility to the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Renewable Fuels industries.
Responsibilities will be varied, including business development, feasibility studies, design and process evaluations. This will also include translating operational requirements into the project scope and assisting within the company to deliver the final project.
Additional duties include Drawing PFD’s and P&ID’s, Design calculations, Concept Study to Detail Design working in our Industry sectors. You will also contribute to specifying process equipment, pumps, PHEs, Valves, instruments etc and assist with executing Protocol documents on site.
Candidates must have significant working experience as well as a degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering. Candidates must have a working background in chemical manufacturing, ideally in pharmaceuticals dealing with capital projects.
