Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer (Teaching-Focused) in Politics, tenable from 1 September 2012 for a fixed term of one year. Applicants must have, or be about to complete, a relevant PhD and have research and teaching interests in Chinese Politics from a comparative and international perspective. This post is focused on teaching and applicants must be prepared to teach on both undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Politics including a second year Undergraduate course on ‘Chinese Politics Today’, a third year Undergraduate course on ‘Identity and Security in China and East Asia’, and an MA course on ‘China in the International System’.
