Job Description
Our client is a civil engineering and groundworks sub contractor based in Birmingham that has been established for over 20 years. They undertake various civil engineering and groundworks packages on small to medium size housing, roads and commercial projects which include footings, foundations, sewers, drainage, pipe work and associated works.
They are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. You must have a proven track record in civil's and groundwork's and have experience of working on civil engineering projects in the residential and commercial sector. The successful candidate will manage projects ranging from £500,000 to £10m. Reporting to the company Director and Commercial Manager candidates must have the ability to manage their own work and take full financial and commercial responsibility.
Skills Required:
Worked/working for a Groundworks/civil engineering subcontractor
Have 5 + years' quantity surveying experience
Be self sufficient in respect to managing your day-to-day work
Estimating experience would be an advantage
The salary is between £30-35k + car + benefits depending on background and experience.
