Job Description

Do something worthwhile

Not all jobs give you the satisfaction of seeing someone you work with achieve their true potential. Social Care is a rewarding career and St Anne’s is a leading provider of care and support services in Yorkshire and the North East, with a reputation for high quality, person-centred services.  We need committed and motivated people who are willing to go that extra mile to help others get the most out of life.

Part-time hours available for weekends and / or some evenings.

You will be providing support and empowerment to clients with learning disabilities in their own homes in the Leeds area; promoting independence and helping them get the most out of life. This will involve providing practical and emotional support, helping with household tasks, shopping and budgeting and accompanying clients to attend leisure and educational activities. The successful candidates will be required to work weekends and / or some evenings. You will be mostly working on a one to one basis.

More important than experience is a caring and respectful attitude.  We provide ongoing training and support and diploma qualifications. Other benefits include a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme, voluntary healthcare, and eligibility to join the local government pension scheme
