Mechanical Bias Service & Maintenance Engineer

Up to £27,000 plus shift allowance and benefits and overtime

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be solely responsible for providing engineering support to the operation of a fast paced production unit in a market leading organisation.

Required Skills

Self motivated and driven to deliver, ideal candidates would be used to working closely with production to keep machinery running. Experience of working in a fast paced environment, and knowledge of auto-mailing and attaching machinery would be useful.

Candidates should also have an understanding of total preventative maintenance and lean manufacturing.

We are looking to hear from candidate who have or hold:

- Ideally Mechanical biased with good electrical knowledge
- Ideally ONC or HNC educated
- Hold relevant mechanical and electrical qualifications
- Willing to work shifts - 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm & 10pm - 6am
- Previous experience in cross skilled or multi skilled maintenance role
- Mechanical experience on:
 Conveyor Systems
 Belt Drives
 Timing Belt Drives
 Bearing replacements
 Chain and sprocket drives and replacements
 Pneumatics
- Experience of fast production equipment
- Experience of PPM
