Skills Product Development Consultant / Assessor job – based in Yorkshire/Humberside areas

We are looking for 2 Skills Product Development Consultants / Assessors for jobs based in the Yorkshire/Humberside areas. You will be working with a government funded training provider who has been established for over 10 years. These are full time, permanent roles to start as soon as possible.

Skills Product Development Consultant / Assessor job - based in Yorkshire/Humberside areas. You will be responsible for:

* Product development to support existing and new contracts, and growing apprenticeship delivery.
* Individuals recruited will undertake sector route way product development on a project basis for 3-6 months prior to moving into the apprenticeship delivery team.
* To support learners in the workplace through the NVQ process to successful completion of their learning.
* To help learners to sustain and progress in employment through the development of skills and the achievement of qualifications.

Qualifications and experience you will need for this Skills Product Development Consultant / Assessor job in Yorkshire/Humberside areas:

Essential:
* Occupational competence in a couple of the relevant areas:
- Warehousing & Storage
- Retail
- Care
- Facilities Management
- Contact Centre
- Hospitality and catering, food and drink manufacture
* A1 Assessors Award
* CTTLS qualified
* Must have prior product development experience
* Current knowledge of H&S requirements
* Working knowledge of QCA Code of Practice
* Full UK Driving Licence and own transport, and be able to travel nationally to multi site locations
* Experience of Apprenticeships, Train to Gain and Skills for Life delivery
* Minimum 2 - 3 years in same or similar role

Desirable
* Knowledge of delivering core sectors including Business Admin and Customer Service
* NVQ Level 3/4 in relevant occupational area
* Experience of working with Awarding Bodies
* Understanding of employers demand for workplace skills development
* D34 or V1 (or working towards)
* Knowledge of the APL process
